The possibility of what could have been...

...is emotionally so draining, makes you want to curse your luck. Is there a God/ Goddess that turns around your luck?

...being surrounded by fit people can be motivating, but Karma is a bitch!

...who says a mentor is free for all...i want one! i'm stuck

...when your entire existence is surrounded by laziness, and you don't want to budge your tiny left toe

...none of all this makes sense and that is exactly the current state of mind!

And I thought I could shop!

My cupboard has been howling and wailing, seeking some attention from it’s languid owner and asking for some freshness. Seriously felt the need to go and pick up a few clothes. I usually avoid shopping during sale, hate visiting a crowded store and waiting in long lines for trial rooms. But me being me, when the need strikes, it screams, urgent, essential, can’t do without! So, apparently the need struck, and the mind refused to reason and certainly refused to wait. So, off went the whole family, mother, father, with kids in tow, following an early lunch, just to ensure, we get parking at a place, atleast a kilometre within the said store and hopefully, wait in lines for trial, billing, etc, etc, a little less than perpetually! Thanks to all the planning , parking was a bliss. Invasion of space

10 years and 2 kids after marriage, in-laws have decided to move in with us. While I totally appreciate their need/ desire to move in and am trying my best to make it most comfortable for them here and also wishing they have happy, zestful twilight years, I must confess that I am finding it a bit too demanding. Me being the fiercely independent kind,   find it too invasive at times. Every bit of help offered (in good stead), each involvement of theirs...is far too intrusive for me. Being somewhat possesive of home and hearth, kitchen and kids (okay...yeah...I have a long way to go...yeah I get it) doesn't make it any easy. And what is it about incompatible personalities?! Exercising freedom of thought, and venting on blogosphere! As long as I’m not exploding like a shaken up bottle of fizzy drink!
