Capsuling 2014

Somehow decided to pay the blog a surprise visit!

Have been itching to write of-course.

Since 2014 is officially coming to an end, just thought it is only fair to re-count the significant madness that the year decided to bestow upon this pint-sized ball (well, I’m referring to myself…for the lack of better ideas)

  • Son started bearing weight of the school bag with dabba and bottle and set off to playgroup
  • Lazy, self-obsessed mother finally manages to find a Dance Class for the dance-fixated offspring, purely by luck. One kind ex-neighbour (we have a lot of those, after all 5 residences in 7 years is not a bad record) obliges to channelize that energy
  • A kind friend enlightens my idle mind by shoving a newspaper article on Maniam’s, a marketing firm, under the lazy nose and the groggy eyes
  • I apply and get the job purely by fluke. Now that is called ‘Stroke of luck’. To say the least, I am thoroughly enjoying the work. This for me is the highlight of the year! Am so grateful to get this opportunity. I am back at work. Spending my time on Proposals, PPTs, and all….oh I so love it. And who doesn’t want to see the dormant Savings Account standing up and smiling again!
  • The eternally roly-poly corpulence is finally being given some stir and shake, with some Zumba classes and highly irregular gymming
  • The foodie, overeating glutton is being fed only as much as it really needs. Succumbing to emotional hunger of course happens every night between 2 and 4am.

Like that
